Our September Climate Reality Project Portland Chapter event focuses on Climate Legislation: How do we get it passed in Oregon and nationally?

Featuring three great speakers: Mark Gamba, Milwaukie Mayor, with Dylan Kruse, Director of Government Affairs & Program Strategy for Sustainable Northwest and Shilpa Joshi, Coalition Director for Renew Oregon.

The theme of this event is "How do we get the Clean Energy Jobs Bill (HB 2020) passed by the Oregon Legislature short 2020 session?" Mayor Mark Gamba will share why he supports the Green New Deal as the best way to address the climate crisis on the federal level. Mark is running in the 2020 Democratic primary against incumbent Rep. Kurt Schrader (OR-05).

August Gathering coming up soon! Next Chapter Meeting, August 18, 5-7 pm. Please join us! This is a relaxed meetup.
