Join the Climate Reality Leadership Corps!
Dear fellow Chapter members and climate activists,
I am so grateful to be a part of the Portland Chapter, and daily reap the benefits of knowing and working alongside all of you. Less than half of our chapter members have attended the Leadership Training, and this is a chance to be the first to experience this new training format.

For those of you that don’t know my story, I became a trained Climate Reality Leader in 2018 at the Climate Reality Leadership Corps Training in Los Angeles. That training has helped me engage with other climate activists in Portland and worldwide. I have had unique opportunities arise from being part of this organization, learned so much, made new connections and friends, and taken on leadership roles that have helped me as I continue to grow.
While the training gave me new knowledge and tools, it’s the dedication of fellow chapter members like yourself that continues to motivate and inspire my work on this critical issue. I truly believe that the strength of the chapters program comes from the combination of different voices, opinions, and experiences. We find strength in numbers and diversity, and because of that, chapters are an incredible force. The Climate Reality Leadership Corps also needs your unique voice and experiences. I hope you’ll join Climate Reality in the first-ever online training, the Climate Reality Leadership Corps: Global Training, taking place over nine days from July 18-26, 2020, to feel that strength in numbers and engage in a training program with climate activists worldwide. Becoming a trained Climate Reality Leader allows you to do more in your own community and within the chapter, as well as allows you to learn first-hand from former US Vice President Al Gore. Trainings are an incredible learning experience, and will get you full access to all of the resources created just for trained Leaders. Don’t wait to register!
