Cook and Serve Jambalaya with the Climate-Friendly Committee

January 18, 5:30-6:30 pm & January 23

Chef Justin Riel, Veritably Vegan Chef and Nutrition Coach, will demonstrate how to make Jambalaya to give to a homeless shelter on January 23rd.

Sign up for the next Cook & Serve opportunity organized by Ashwin Prabhu, a member of our committee. Learn to cook vegan Jambalaya at 5:30pm on Monday, January 18, and make the dish on January 23 for the 60 people experiencing homelessness who are staying at the Walnut Park Shelter. You can make a lot or a little, and Ashwin can help you identify what you can make (like a side dish, for example) if you want to contribute but can't contribute a lot. We will give you the recipe and ingredient list for vegan jambalaya and cornbread muffins.

Chef Justin Riel will be launching a new website soon, follow him on Instagram for now.

Please email climaterealityportland@gmail.com to get more information, or to receive the recipes and zoom link. If these dates won't work for you, we will record the demo and you are also welcome to make the dishes for your family at home!
